Bitcoin

A digital asset with a defined issuance schedule. Network adoption, supply and market demand provide context for BTC price movements.

Smart-contract networks

Ethereum, Solana and similar networks support applications. Network activity, updates and the use of their native tokens affect market expectations.

Other token projects

Tokens can serve payment, infrastructure or application functions. Their purpose, circulating supply and release schedule differ substantially.

What to consider

A continuous market
Crypto trades around the clock, including weekends. Continuous access does not mean liquidity is equally deep at every hour.
The trading pair
In BTC/USDT, BTC is the asset and USDT is the quote currency. Review the pair and the total order amount before submitting a trade.
Liquidity and spread
A narrow spread and sufficient market depth matter for execution. Smaller assets can react strongly to comparatively modest orders.
Supply and project changes
Token releases, network updates and security incidents can change expectations. Compare the circulating supply with the project’s issuance rules.

Market risks

Digital assets can experience rapid, substantial price changes. Limited liquidity, project failures, network incidents and changes in regulation add risks beyond price volatility. A quote in USDT also carries exposure to the quote asset.
